Drywall Pros DC is hiring an experienced Framing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with metal and wood framing for walls, ceilings, and partitions in Residential and Commercial settings.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and layout plans to determine framing specifications
- Install metal studs and wood framing for walls and ceilings
- Build partition walls, soffits, and bulkheads
- Ensure all structures are plumb, level, and square
- Install backing and blocking for fixtures and cabinetry
- Coordinate with drywall installers and other trades
- Maintain a safe and organized job site
Requirements
- Proven experience in metal and wood framing
- Ability to read blueprints and construction plans
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and valid identification
